PUBLIC NOTICE ATTENTION LOW INCOME HOMEOWNERS UPPER CUMBERLAND DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT (UCDD) has received funding for emergency home repairs for low income elderly (60 years of age or older) or disabled individuals (through Social Security) in the Upper Cumberland region to include 14 counties. Funding is provided by Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA). Applications will be processed on a first come first served basis and may be placed on a waiting list due to funding. Homeowner will need to obtain 1/3 portion of the cost of repairs either through a cash match or another organization can provide this 1/3 cost portion. Income eligibility requirements apply and allowable repair criteria are Roofs, Electrical, Plumbing, Septic, Heating and Air Systems, Structural Repairs to Floors or Walls, Bathroom Modifications and Ramps necessary for homeowners with a physical disability access of basic life functions. We provide “ERP funding without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or familial status”.
