Henry Howell Harris, 82, of Titusville, passed away Wednesday, May 19, after a brief illness. Mr. Harris was born on June 16, 1938 in Waverly, Tennessee to Emmet Henry Harris and Martha Mulliniks Harris. Mr. Harris was a proud 1960 graduate of Vanderbilt University in civil engineering and held an MBA from FIT and a Masters in Aerospace Engineering from Washington State University. Mr. Harris worked for NASA for almost four decades before retiring in 2004. He was an avid fan of all Vanderbilt athletics programs, a proud grandfather, and a dedicated member and former elder at the North Brevard Church of Christ.
Mr. Harris is survived by his spouse of 57 years, Brenda Bellar Harris; One sister, Sarah Harris Wallace of Nashville, Tennessee; One daughter, Heather Harris Shadrix, her husband Craig Shadrix and their two sons, Hunter Shadrix and Preston Shadrix, of Lake Mary, Florida; One son, Scott Harris, of Lake Mary, Florida, his two daughters: Aubrey Harris, of Port Orange, Florida and Madison Harris Jeremiah, her husband Jovennie Jeremiah, and their son, Jordan Jeremiah, of Okinawa, Japan.
There was a visitation at North Brevard Church of Christ between the hours of 5 and 6 pm and a funeral service followed at 6 pm on May the 25th. The interment was held at Hermitage Memorial Gardens–Cemetery on May the 28th, 2021 in Hermitage, TN.
