Obit – Mrs. Janice Faye Webster Winfree

Mrs. Janice Faye Webster Winfree, age 79, of Alexandria, TN passed away Thursday January 8, 2026.

Mrs. Winfree was born. in Lebanon, TN on December 23, 1946 a daughter of the late Clarence Early Webster and Sadie Lee Malone Webster. She graduated from Gordonsville High School in 1965 and was married to Robert Earl Winfree on March 14, 1970 and he predeceased her on May 27, 2022. She was a devoted wife, mother and daughter who loved being outdoors and was a vital part in taking care of the family farm alongside her husband for over 50 years. She was a member of Malones Chapel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Winfree is survived by children: Robert Keith Winfree of Smithville, TN, Suzanne (Donnie) Key of Alexandria, TN, Mark (Megan) Winfree of Smithville, TN and Kevin Winfree of Smithville, TN: grandchildren, Logan (Rachel) Vanatta, Devin (Joe) Vanatta, D. J. (Katie) Key, Rilec Winfree, Laina Winfree, Bailey Winfree and Brennan Winfree: great-grandchildren, Maizey Vanatta, Beckett Vanatta, Marli Key, Ella Rose Key and McKenna Key.

Mrs. Winfree was at the Avant Funeral Home in Alexandria, TN where funeral services were conducted on Sunday January 11, 2026 at 1PM with Bro B. J. Thomason officiating. Interment followed in New Hope Cemetery.
