Obit – Mrs. Carolyn T. Stewart

Carolyn T. Stewart DEC 12, 1936 – JAN 15, 2026 Carolyn T. Stewart, 89, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026. 

She was born to the late Walter & Bertie Atwood Turner on December 12th, 1936. 

Mrs. Stewart faithfully attended Beacon Baptist Church and Trinity Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir.  

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe T. Stewart; three brothers, Ray Turner, W.L. Turner, and James Turner; one sister, Mary Etta Nixon.  

Those left to cherish their Mother & Nana’s memory are her children, Deborah Wilson (Mike), and Steve Stewart (Cheri); five grandchildren, Kelli Wilson, Candace Wilson, Alyssa Roe (Will Parker), Amy Miller (Ben), Graylin Stewart (Priscilla); 11 great-grandchildren, Brayden, Will, Kayla, Madison, Preston, Mason, Welles, Thatcher, Maeve, Benny, & Lottie; one great-great-grandchild, Koda.  

Arrangements entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216 where funeral services were conducted on Tuesday January 20, 2026 at 2 PM.  Interment followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
