Obit – Mrs. Mary Magdalene Sullivan

Mrs. Mary Magdlene Sullivan, age 93, of Cookeville, TN passed away on Saturday March 7, 2026 at Grandview Post Acute Nursing Home.

Mary was born on February 19, 1933 in Baxter, TN a daughter of the late John Bryant and Grace Bryant. She was also preceded by five sisters, two brothers and a grandson Robert (Bubba) Wade. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Mary is survived a daughter, Ann Darlene Anderson of Cookeville, TN; son, John (Pete) Allen of Lebanon, TN; four grandkids, Amy (William) Jones, Beth Jones, Paul Neil Andrews and Regina Neal; seven great-grandkids; Jerry Moody, Dalton Jones, Kayla Crutchfield, Adrianna Jones, Harley Wade, Justin Wade and Hunter Andrews; four great-great-grandkids, Jayden Wallace, Freya Wallace, Janelle Wallace and Paisley Moody; four very dear friends, Louise Wade, Alan Coon, Betty Shaw, Maria Healey and several nieces and nephews.

Mary is at the Carthage Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday March 11, 2026 at 1PM with Rev Jody Neely officiating. Interment followed in the Gibbs Cemetery.

Mrs. Sullivan’s family request memorial donations in her memory be made to Bass Funeral Home.
