SCHOOL BURGLARY SUSPECTS ARRESTED

Two people are suspected in the burglary of three schools in Smith County.

The two are also suspected in school burglaries in Wilson and DeKalb counties, according to local law enforcement authorities.

The two suspects were arrested in Lebanon, Thursday night, following an investigation conducted by Carthage police, Smith County Sheriff’s Department, Lebanon Police Department and Wilson County Sheriff’s Department.

Shauna M. Fleetwood, 25, Mt. Juliet, is being held in the Smith County jail facing charges of accessory after the fact, felony criminal conspiracy, child abuse/neglect (under the age of 18) and criminal responsibility.

Charges stem from the Wednesday, September 28, burglary at Carthage Elementary School.

Brian Clinton Howell, 27, Brush Creek, is being held in Wilson County, facing charges in that county.
