MAN CHARGED IN ATTEMPT TO OBTAIN DRUGS

A man faces charges after attempting to have a prescription filled for a deceased relative.

According to an arrest warrant filed by Gordonsville Police Chief Shannon Hunt, Aaron Mitchell Washer, 26, Gordonsville, took a prescription to a Gordonsville drug store to be filled on November 14.

The prescription was for 60 Hydrocodone pills.

According to the warrant, the prescription was written for Washer’s grandmother who passed away on November 5.
