ALMOST 100 INDICTMENTS RETURNED
Sixty-Two Indictments Remained Sealed

The grand jury returned one of the largest number of indictments ever during its December session, Monday.

A total of 99 indictments were returned.

Of those, 62 remained sealed, Tuesday.

Among those indicted was a 47-year-old Brush Creek man who was indicted on charges of aggravated kidnapping, soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor and assault.

In July, Bobby Joe Seay II allegedly held two females inside his Dry Fork Road home against their will.

One of the individuals was a minor.

Seay asked the two females into his residence to look at some work he had done inside the home, according to an arrest warrant filed by Detective Kit Jenkins with the sheriff’s department’s detective’s division.

Once the two females stepped inside, Seay allegedly locked the door behind them and asked them to kiss him, according to the arrest warrant.

With a pornographic movie playing on the television, Seay allegedly performed a sex act in front of the two females, according to the arrest warrant.

The females told investigators “they tried to leave the residence several times during the incident but when they would stand up to leave Seay would block the door and hold the door handle to prevent them from leaving”, according to the warrant.

One of the females told detectives “she was frightened” by Seay’s actions during the incident.
