THREE ARREST IN UNDERCOVER DRUG PROBE

Three people face criminal charges for allegedly conspiring to sell prescription medication.

The investigation was conducted, Thursday, by the sheriff’s department.

According to Sgt. Junior Fields’ offense report, the three “conspired to sell 10 (10 milligram) Hydrocodone pills by texting and setting up a meeting in the McDonald’s parking lot in Carthage”.

The three set up the alleged sale with an individual who they thought had been arrested for DUI earlier in the day.

Sgt. Fields set up the alleged drug deal by texting one of the three individual’s cell phone, setting up a time, location, quantity and price of drugs.

The price was set at $10 per pill.

The three suspects arrived at the designated location with the prescription medication requested in the text, according to Sgt. Fields’ report.
