The TBI is currently investigating a deadly officer involved shooting on Boyd Lane in Smith County.

Boyd Lane is just off Hwy 70 near Cumberland Cove.

No details of the investigation have been released by the TBI at this time.

There are also reports of a stabbing related to this investigation.
