Keepsakes. Most people possess at least one. Possibly a piece of jewelry, furniture, memento or even a collection of items that once belonged to a close friend or relative. Many keepsakes have little monetary value to others; however for their owners the items are often priceless. Keepsakes possess a unique power to stimulate past emotions, often evoking a warm feel, sometimes laughter. Those treasured keepsakes can even bring their owner to tears simply at their sight. On Ward Hollow Road, located in the southwestern section of Smith County near the Wilson County line, is a keepsake which once went missing but is now back in the hands of its rightful owner, all because of the some dedicated sheriff’s department officers.
