The countdown to the Smith County Fair (The Fair By The River) is on. The event is less than three weeks away. While the fair runs from June 28 through July 3 (carnival rides), fair events begin ahead of the arrival of the carnival. Events associated with the fair will begin as soon as Friday, June 25. The first event of the fair is an archery competition which begins at 4 p.m., Friday, June 25.

A full day of events will take place on Saturday, June 26.

For those who did not save their tabloid from the May 20 edition of the Courier, one is available at the front desk of the Courier, as well as other locations around the county. The tabloid details the schedule of events and times, event rules and regulations, admission costs, etc.
