Obit – Mrs. Maude Christian Mofield
Mrs. Maude Christian Mofield, age 88 of the Hogans Creek Community was called home to be with her heavenly Father with her family at her bedside at 9:23 a.m. Sunday morning March 16, 2025 under the care of Gentiva Hospice of Lebanon at the Lebanon Health and Rehabilitation Center at Castle Heights.
Her pastor of over thirty-nine years, Eld. Junior Dickerson, officiated the 11 a.m. Wednesday morning March 19th funeral services from the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Burial was by her son and husband in the Garden of Prayer at the Smith County Memorial Gardens.
A son, Troy Mofield preceded her in death on January 24, 2024 at the age of 57.
Mrs. Mofield is survived by her three children, Judy Smith and Husband Greg of Lebanon, Tommy Mofield and wife Teresa Bowman Mofield, Tracy Mofield and wife Marcie, daughter-in-law, Alta Lee Mofield all of the Hogans Creek Community.
The Mofield family has requested memorials to the Plunketts Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
