WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS (SMITH COUNTY ARP) 25 UTILITY DISTRICT CARTHAGE, TENNESSEE Sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the construction of the Water System Improvements (Smith County ARP), Tennessee ARP Project will be received at the office of 25 Utility District, 293 Dixon Springs Highway, Carthage, Tennessee 37030, until 2:00 p.m., local time, on June 11, 2025, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud. The Instructions to Bidders, Bid, Contract Agreement, Drawings, Specifications and forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Payment Bond and other Contract Documents may be examined at bidding.bargedesign.com The Project consists of replacing approximately 178 service connections, including replacing the service line between the water main and the meter, the meter setter, meter box, connection to the existing customer service lines, and surface and pavement restoration. The service connection replacments on the base bid including replacing 79 service connections, replacing approximately 1,300 linear feet of 3/4-inch service lines via open cut, and replacing approximately 1,500 feet of 3/4-inch service lines via trenchless methods. Additive Alternate #1 consists of replacing 63 service connections, replacing approximately 230 feet of 3/4-inch service lines via open cut, and replacing approximately 1,180 feet of 3/4-inch service lines via trenchless methods. Additive Alternate #2 consists of replacing 36 service connections, replacing approximately 590 feet of 3/4-inch service lines via open cut, and replacing approximately 582 feet of 3/4-inch service lines via trenchless methods.
