Obit – Mrs. Veller Jackson Dyer

Mrs. Veller Jackson Dyer, age 69 of Pleasant Shade, TN passed away on Saturday December 13, 2025

Mrs. Dyer was born November 1, 1956 in the Boma Community of Putnam County, TN a daughter of the late Haywood Jackson and Mattie Belle Hancock. She was married to James Eugene Dyer on June 16, 1972 and he predeceased her on January 23, 2020, she was also predeceased by a granddaughter Lisa Marie Sevier: brother, Donald Jackson: sister, Vallie Williams. She was a member of the Jared Missionary Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family.

Mrs. Dyer is survived by two children: Anthony (April) Dyer of Pleasant Shade, TN and Teresa Harp of Baxter, TN: grandchildren, Nicole (Johnathon) Mears, Josh Sevier, Angel (Alex) Glover, Paige (Ted) Geho and B. J. Harp: nine great-grandchildren, Ariel, Shane, Adalyn, Amos, Sawyer, Lively, Branson, Johnathon and Paisley: siblings, Thurman and Linda Jackson, David and Maggie Hancock and William and Brenda Jackson.

Mrs. Dyer is at the Carthage Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes. There will be no public services. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Smellage Memory Gardens in the Boma Community of Putnam County.
