Obit – Mrs. Jacqueline Elaine Trapp Thomas

Mrs. Jacqueline Elaine Trapp Thomas age 62 of Alexandria, TN passed away on Friday January 9, 2026 at her home.

Elaine was born on September 29, 1963 a daughter of the late Jerry Spencer Trapp and Ann Dillon Jones Trapp, she was also predeceased by a brother Thayer Wade Trapp. She was a graduate of DeKalb County High School. She was married to Michael Edward Thomas on April 24, 1992 and retired from TRW. Elaine was a loving wife and mother who loved gardening and was an avid cat lover.

Elaine is survived by her husband: Mike Thomas of Alexandria, TN: children, Kyle Spencer Thomas, Greg (Lydia) Thomas, Jesse Hawkins and Stephen Carl (Leah) Thomas: grandchildren Lincoln Thomas, Olivia Thomas, Maylee Poarch, Harmony Thomas and Ravin Thomas.

Elaine was at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes where funeral services were conducted on Monday January 12, 2026 at 1PM where interment followed in the Gordonsville Cemetery.
