Obit – Mr. Emmanuel Yorke
Mr. Emmanuel Yorke age 67 of Carthage and a native of Ghana, West Africa died at the Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Lebanon where he was initially admitted November 23, 2022 suffering from diabetes and being treated for coronary heart disease. Mr. Yorke was pronounced decease at 4:15 a.m. Thursday morning February 19, 2026 by Gentiva Hospice of Lebanon.
Mr. Yorke was at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral home where cremation arrangements had been pre-arranged and those services were performed at the Cumberland Family Services in Algood.
At the present time no memorial service is planned.
He was born Emmanuel Ekow York on New Years Day of 1959 in Takoradi, Ghana and was the son of Mary Patricia Mensah Yorke and the late John Patrick Yorke.
Mr. Yorke was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in the Tanglewood Community and his wife attended The Refuge in the Rome Community.
Mr. Yorke was a retired electrician for the Nashville Electric Service, having been trained in a trade school for his position with N.E.S.
Surviving is his wife, Patricia Ann Mallory Yorke of Carthage; a daughter, Candice Yorke of South Carthage and a son, Leon Yorke of Lebanon; mother, Mary Mensah Yorke.
