Obit – Mrs. Jeanee Wood Baird

Mrs. Jeanee Wood Baird of Franklin, Tennessee passed away on February 26, 2026.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday March 28th at Hunterwood, 2128 Key Drive in Brentwood at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dominic Avello officiating.

The family will receive friends at Hunterwood for 12 noon until the 2 p.m. service.

Mrs. Baird was born in Nashville and was the daughter of the late Yuma Community in Carroll County, TN native, Bertie K. Wood and Kempville Community native Sue Carroll Hudson Wood who died August 25, 2021 at the age of 85. 

Also preceding her in death was her mother-in-law, Leipers Fork Community in Williams County native, Elese Addean Baird who died April 12, 2022 at the age of 88.

Mrs. Baird was the granddaughter of Little Salt Lick Community  farmer, the late John Henry Hudson who died of a massive heart attack on the family farm at the age of 60 on February 3, 1977 and the late Georgia Bethel Sircy Hudson who died at the age of 89 on June 8, 2006.

Jeanee was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and studied at George Peabody College for Teachers and Vanderbilt University. She retired from AIG, where she worked as a Case Manager.

An ordained minister, Jeanee attended Cornerstone Church in Spring Hill, TN. She shared her unwavering faith and love for Jesus Christ with all those around her.

Jeanee is survived by her loving husband, David W. Baird of Franklin, TN; her sons, Taylor Hall and Nathan Hall, both of Franklin, TN; her sister, Lisha Orman of Brentwood, TN; her nephew, Josh Orman of Brentwood, TN; her father-in-law, Albert Walker Baird of Franklin, TN; her sister-in-law, Diane (David) Benson of Brentwood, TN; her niece, Tyler (Daniel) Krikorian of Brentwood, TN; and her niece, Bailey Benson of Nashville, TN.
