Obit – Mr. Barry Myers
A Hartsville resident, Mr. Barry Myers was discovered unresponsive at his Buckeye Lane home and was pronounced deceased at 4:50 a.m. Friday morning March 6, 2015.
Mr. Myers was at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his family made burial arrangements on Friday morning March 13. His interment will be in the Myers lot in the Garden of Gethsemane with his parents and grandparents at the Smith County Memorial Gardens.
He was born Barry Richmond Myers in Carthage on April 17, 1962, and was the only son of three children of the late Hollie Richmond Myers who died on February 20, 2025 at the age of 89 and Julia Ann (Judy)Lankford who died May 12, 2008 at the age of 69.
Barry was a 1980 graduate of Trousdale County High School and was an employee of Muller Brass in Hartsville for over twenty years.
Barry possessed a big tender heart and never met a stranger. He loved people and they loved him back. He would do anything he could for those who needed help.
He will be missed by those who loved him and the family finds comfort knowing he is at peace and watching over them.
Surviving Barry are his three children, Kaylee Myers of Hartsville, Cliffton Myers of Hendersonville, Keith Myers and wife Teddi of Jacksboro, TN; two sisters, Holly Ann Myers Robinsom of Mount Juliet, Leslie Myers Ford and husband Jason of Hartsville; five grandchildren, Shaylee, Hunter, and Fisher Lannoom, Gracie Myers, and Bradley Myers; one niece, Halle and Brent five nephews Jeremy and Courtney, Taylor and Sheena, Adam, Hunter and Emma Alex and Andrew; five great nephews, Knox, Ford, Gatlen, Hank, and Hutton.
