Obit – William Walker (Bill) Ballard Jr.
William Walker (Bill) Ballard Jr, age 76, of Hickman, TN, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026 in Lebanon, TN. Bill was born on October 24, 1949 in Chattanooga, TN.
Bill was known for his quick wit, humor, practical jokes, intelligence, mechanical aptitude and love of cats. He worked in the mining industry for over 40 years in various positions such as Equipment Representative to diesel mechanic. He was proceeded in death by father William Walker Ballard, Sr. and mother Carrie E. O. Ballard.
He is survived by daughter, Robin Johnson.

Celebration of life services will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2026 at 4:00 pm from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes. Interment will follow in the Gordonsville Cemetery. Bill’s Family will receive friends on Wednesday April 1, 2026 at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
