Sexual exploitation of minor charges filed by TBI in case

One man faces charges in what the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) says is an “ongoing child sexual abuse material investigation”, by electronic means, according to the agency.
Nathan Tyler Goolsby, 29, has been charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor by the TBI, according to the agency.
Charges were filed following an investigation which began in December of 2024 when the TBI received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCEMC) concerning an individual who uploaded multiple files of child sex abuse material to a Dropbox account, according to the TBI.
Special agents assigned to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Cybercrime & Digital Evidence Unit subsequently identified the individual as Goolsby, according to the TBI, which went on to label the investigation as “ongoing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) investigation”.
On Monday (February 10), TBI agents secured a warrant charging Goolsby with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, according to the TBI which issued a news release later in the day.
TBI agents and officers with the Smith County Sheriffs Department located Goolsby the same day.
