Law elected bank’s Chairman of Board

The Board of Directors of Citizens Bank have announced the election of Johnny Law as Chairman of the Board effective with their board meeting of February 18.

Law joined Citizens Bank in November of 1987 and has served as President and CEO since the passing of former President and CEO Paul Hackett in 2017.

Walter Glenn Birdwell, Jr. previously served as Chairman of the Board from 1988 until his death this past February.

Law and his wife Susan are residents of Carthage since 1989 and attend Carthage Church of Christ.

Law has served as President of Carthage Lions Club, President of the Smith County Heritage Museum Board and President of the Smith County Chamber of Commerce.
