Military vehicles, soldiers to fill downtown Saturday as maneuvers celebrated

Military vehicles, weapons, memorabilia, etc. will be on display during Saturday’s Tennessee Maneuvers Remembered event in downtown Carthage.

The day long event recalls the maneuvers which took place in Smith County and other Middle Tennessee counties.

In addition to featuring military artifacts, period re-enactors will participate in the event. Also, various demonstrations and live entertainment will take place throughout the day.

Rides on military vehicles such as jeeps will also be a part of the event, as well as a commemorative flyover at noon.

Military encampments are part of the annual event.
