Obit – Mrs. Shelbie Waller

A precious lady, Mrs. Shelbie Waller, departed her earthly walk to be with her Lord and Saviour with her family at her bedside at 4:38 Friday afternoon July 4, 2025. The family had been assisted with her care by Gentiva Hospice of Livingston. Mrs. Waller was 87.

Mrs. Waller’s brother, Rev. Wayne Hall assisted by Bro. Jackie Dillehay officiated at the 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon July 8th funeral services from the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Burial followed in section five at the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Waller was the second of seven children born to the late John Lee Hall who died December 23, 1996 at the age of 81 and Gracie Ione Judkins Hall who died June 26, 2006 at the age of 87 and was born Shelbie Dean Hall in Watertown on March 12, 1938.

She was a 1956 graduate of Watertown High School.

Mrs. Waller was united in marriage to Clifton Charles Waller at the Murfreesboro Nazarene Church on November 4, 1978.

She was of the Nazarene faith.

Mrs. Waller was an accountant and retired in 1988 from Toyota of Murfreesboro.

Surviving in addition to her husband of almost forty-seven years are her six siblings, Marie Watts and husband Kenneth, Danny Hall and wife Elena all of Watertown, Annie Sue Davenport of Woodbury, Wendell Hall and wife Janette of Lebanon, Rev. Wayne Hall and wife Wanda of Kentucky, Ralph Hall and wife Barbara of Alexandria.

The Waller family has requested memorials to the Jordan Hackett Foundation.
