WILLIAM WALTON HARVEST FESTIVAL SATURDAY
The fourth annual William Walton Harvest Festival will take place on the square in Carthage, Saturday.
The annual event is a celebration of the past with a variety of activities including re-enactments, historical demonstrations, antique vehicles, musical entertainment and activities for both youth and adults.
The day long event will also include craft and food vendors.
Events will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 6 p.m.
There will be a tractor display and cruise-in during the festival.
Anyone is welcome to bring their antique or vintage tractor or vehicle to display.
Covered wagon rides will take place from 1-4 p.m. A scavenger hunt will take place beginning at noon.
Various individuals will portray historically significant people from Smith County beginning at 11 a.m. on the steps of the courthouse.
Sidewalk painting will take place for 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The University of Tennessee and Florida football game with be available for viewing.
