OBIT: Mr. Lloyd Meachum, age 97, of Watervale

Mr. Lloyd Meachum, age 97, of Watervale, died Wednesday morning, September 28, at Tennova Healthcare in Lebanon. He is survived by: wife, Wynema Dixon Knight Meachum; daughter, Wynella Meachum Mathes and husband Douglas Brown Mathes of Huntsville, AL; niece, Cynthia Meachum Dennis and husband Ronnie of Cookeville; nephew, Doyle Edward “Buddy” Meachum and wife Sharon of Antioch; brother-in-law, Dewey King Knight of Watervale.

Mr. Meachum is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted Saturday afternoon, October 1, at 1:00 pm with Eld. Rickey Hall and Eld. Charles Allen Gentry officiating. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Wesley Minor, Luke Minor, Wesley Lattimore, George Meachum, Wayne Meachum and Tim Meachum.

The family will receive friends at the Carthage Chapel beginning on Friday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.
