OBIT: Ms. Linda Faye Bennett, Age 68, Of Elmwood

Ms. Linda Faye Bennett, age 68, of Elmwood, TN passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016.

Linda was born July 4, 1948 in Gordonsville, TN, the daughter of the late Normie Bennett and Frances Elizabeth Grisham Bennett. She was also preceded in death by Two Sons; Archie Weatherford, Jr. and Bobby J. Weatherford, and Two Sisters; Martha Mai Bennett Fields and Mable Bennett. She worked for the Welsh Company and for Smith County Coatings.

Ms. Bennett is survived by Daughter; Penny Nannie of Elmwood. Three Grandchildren; Chris Franklin, Cody Nannie, and Ashley Nannie. Sister; Mildred Jones of Gordonsville, TN. Five Great-Grandchildren; Christopher Franklin, Jr., Shiya Rhinnon Hickman, Caleigha Denise Kelley, DeAnthony Rashad Kelley, and Alexzia Stewart. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Ms. Bennett are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 1PM with Bro. Shane Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Gordonsville Cemetery.

Visitation with the Bennett family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Tuesday from 2PM until 8PM and on Wednesday after 11am until service time at 1PM.
