Funeral services for Kaydyn Lee Chayse Smith, age 9, of Buffalo Valley were held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 9th, 2017 in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home. Pastor Doug Dillard officiated. Interment was in Cookeville City Cemetery.
Kaydyn Lee Chayse Smith passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee following life long illness.
Kaydyn was born Thursday, August 16, 2007 in Nashville, Tennessee to Kayla Elizabeth Smith and Timothy Huddleston.
Kaydyn will always be remembered for loving to go to church and getting kisses from all the ladies. He loved anything from Bath & Body Works. He always wanted to put others first, and was concerned for everyone around him.
He is survived by: his mother, Kayla Elizabeth Smith, of Cookeville, father, Timothy Huddleston, of Cookeville; sister, Ahlaiya Vaughn, of Cookeville; grandparents, Marvin and Connie Davis, of Buffalo Valley, Tennessee, Cheryl Bowman, of Cookeville, William Smith, of Knoxville, Tennessee, Richard Thompson, of Cookeville, and Lora Quarles, of Cookeville; great-grandmother, Carolyn Smith, of Knoxville, Tennessee; special friend of many, Carolyn Bates “Memaw”, of Buffalo Valley, Tennessee; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers were Officers of The Monterey Police Department.
