OBIT: Mr. Steve Goolsby, Age 44, Of The Bagdad Community
Mr. Steve Goolsby age 44 of the Bagdad Community was pronounced dead at 1:20 p.m. Monday afternoon June 19, 2017 shortly after arrival at the Riverview Regional Medical Center Emergency Room in Carthage. He was transported by the Jackson County E. M. S. from his Dixon Lane home with C.P.R. in progress.
Graveside services and interment were conducted from the Roseland Park Cemetery in the Berkley Township of Royal Oak, Michigan and burial followed beside his father.
Mr. Goolsby was at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home and was transferred on Thursday June 22nd to the Hopcroft Funeral Home in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Born Steven Randall Goolsby on December 22, 1972 in Royal Oak, Michigan, he was the son of Jackson County native parents Grover and Sue Clark Goolsby.
Mr. Goolsby was a 1992 graduate of Jackson County Central High School in Gainesboro.
Surviving are two children, Kyle Goolsby and Katie Goolsby both of the Bagdad Community, sister, Tracy Goolsby Daniels of Sterling Heights, Michigan.
