Obit – Ms. Peggy Dianne Lawrence Dean

Ms. Peggy Dianne Lawrence Dean, age 81, of Nashville, TN and a native of the Sykes Community of Smith County, TN passed away on Sunday November 17, 2024.

Ms. Dean was born August 23, 1943 in Nashville, TN, a daughter of the late James Oval Lawrence and Etheleen Kelley Lawrence. She was also preceded by a sister, Sondra Lawrence. She was retired from National Life and Accident Insurance Company and from the Metro Davidson County Police Department where she served as a 911 dispatcher for MNPD and NFD, then later as a clerk in the archives department. She attended the Church of Christ, loved socializing with people, gardening, and crafting.

Ms. Dean is survived by three children: Deborah Green of Nolensville, TN, Amy (Jeremy) Lattanzi of LaVergne, TN, and Jared (Brenda) Dean of Smyrna, TN; seven grandchildren: Kayla, Sarah, Alexis, Peyton, Grayson, Anna Grace, and Jacob; two brothers: Bobby (Charlene) Lawrence, Johnny (Debbie) Lawrence and a sister, Terri Lawrence.

Ms. Dean is at the Gordonsville chapel of Bass Funeral Homes where her family will receive friends on Saturday November 23, 2024 from 11 AM until 1PM.

There will be a private interment in the Brush Creek Cemetery, Brush Creek, TN.
