Obit – Mrs. Mary Alice Cook

Mrs. Mary Alice Cook, age 80, of Gordonsville, TN, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024.

Mrs. Cook was born May 3, 1944 in Cincinnati, OH, a daughter of the late Charles Cochran and Esther J. Shoemaker Cochran. She worked for the State of Tennessee, Department of Revenue for numerous years until she retired.

Mrs. Cook is survived by Children; Charlotte (Andrew) Ammons of Gordonsville, TN, Charles Cook, Jr., of Ohio, Michael (Rebecca) Cook of Iowa, and Christopher (Cindy) Cook, Sr., of Ohio. Grandchildren; Nicole (Dustin) Armistead, Julie Ammons, Christopher Cook, Jr., and Alex Cook. Great-grandchildren; Arya Armistead and Sylas Armistead.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Cook were conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 10AM with Bro. Ryan Rogers officiating. Interment followed in the Gordonsville Cemetery.
