Obit – Mrs. Melva Lee Salzler

Mrs. Melva Lee Salzler, age 85, a longtime resident of Elmwood, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. 

Mrs. Salzler was born in East Eden, NY, on March 22, 1939, a daughter of the late August Eichler and Mary Ann Hoelscher Eichler. She was also preceded in death by husband; Germain Salzler, Brother; August Eichler, Jr, and Sister; Joyce Eichler. Mrs. Salzler graduated from the Immaculata Academy in Hamburg, NY. She worked for the WNYDDSO as a Developmental aide until she retired. 

Mrs. Salzler is survived by Children; Laura Salzler, Rachael “Shelly” (James) Plonka, Cynthia “Cindy” Leason, and Joseph (Dena) Salzler. Grandchildren; Kristin Leason, Heather (Damon Heary) Salzler, Devon Salzler, and Jessica Salzler. 

Mrs. Salzler will be transported to East Eden, NY, for burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
