Obit – Bobbie Mae Croslin Woods

On January 4, 2025 at 5:52AM Bobbie Mae Croslin Woods of the Lancaster Hill Community went to be with her Lord.  She was born on March 15, 1928 in Smith County, TN to James Bennett Croslin and Vallie Crawford Croslin.  On December 1, 1945 she married Ralph Woods in Ringgold, GA.  They had three children Donna, Darla, and Teddy.

Bobbie helped to care for her family in any way she could.  She attended Lancaster Hill Church of God for years and also Carthage Church of God until her health issues kept her home.  Bobbie worked several years at Carthage Shirt Factory but most of her years were spent as a housewife, mother and daughter.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph on December 26, 2004, parents James Bennett and Vallie Crawford Croslin,  infant son Teddy, brother Bart Croslin and son-in-law Kerr Cowan.  She is survived by daughters:  Donna (Jimmy) Judkins and Darla Cowan of the Lancaster Hill Community.  She has three grandchildren;  Valerie Judkins,  Benny (Suzanne) Judkins and Lori (Greg) Glover;  five great grandchildren;  Blayne Judkins, Peyton (Casey) Judkins, Brennan Judkins,  Katelyn Glover and Caroline Glover:  three nephews;  Danny, Gary and Jamie Croslin:  special cousin Jack Woodard of Birmingham, AL.

Mrs. Woods was at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes where funeral services were conducted on Tuesday January 7, 2025 at 1PM with Bro Seth London and Bro Bill Parkerson officiating.  Interment followed in the Gordonsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Woods family request memorial donations in her memory be made to St. Judes.
