By Eddie West Staff Writer

Guns, drugs and cash were seized and two people charged following a sheriffs department search of a Brush Creek residence.

Multiple officers with the sheriffs department converged on a residence located in the 300 block of Brush Creek Circle to execute a search warrant in relation to an individual having guns at the residence where a male subject having been convicted of two prior domestic assaults and felony vandalism was living, according to an offense report filed by Dt. Lt. Junior Fields.

During a search of the residence, two handguns, various drugs including 3.2 ounces of methamphetamine, four grams of marijuana and various pills were located, according to the officer’s report.

Also, $1,305 in cash was seized. The officer’s report alleges a female at the residence admitted she had been getting a “quarter pound of methamphetamine every week to two weeks in Nashville but stated she had slowed down due to not wanting to go to jail”.
