OBIT: Mr. Glenn Allen Pettross, age 87, of Carthage

Mr. Glenn Allen Pettross, age 87, of Carthage, died Wednesday afternoon, October 19, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  He is survived by: sons, Mark Pettross of Castalian Springs, Mike Pettross of Brentwood, Mitch Pettross of Nashville; brother, Vance Pettross Jr. of Gordonsville.

Mr. Pettross is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home.  Graveside service and interment will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, October 23 at 3:00 PM in the Ridgewood Cemetery in Carthage.  Rev. Maurice B. Moore, Rev. John W. Vaughan and Jacky Carver Sr. will officiate.  Albert Bennett, Harold Bennett, Phillip Bennett, Myron Bennett, L. K. Lannom, and Scott Wright will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be on Sunday only at the Carthage Chapel  from 12:00 Noon until leaving for the cemetery at 2:45 PM.

The family has requested memorials to the Carthage United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
