OBIT: Mrs. Kay McGuire Whitson, Age 59, Of The Shiloh Community

Mrs. Kay McGuire Whitson, age 59, of the Shiloh Community, died Monday at St. Thomas in Nashville.  She is survived by: husband, Dillard Whitson; son, Matthew Whitson and wife Kali of Lexington, Kentucky; sister, Jan McGuire Sutton and husband Phil of Mt. Juliet; cousin, Teresa Jones and husband Danny of Gainesboro.

Mrs. Whitson is at the Hackett Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home.  Her service will be conducted on Thursday afternoon, October 27,  at 1:00 PM at the Wartrace United Methodist Church.  Bro. Jeff Burton will officiate.  Interment in the Wolfe Family Cemetery in Indian Creek.  Serving as pallbearers are: Danny Jones, Phil Sutton, Ronnie Long, John Wesley Halliburton, Josh Denson and Tyler Cassetty.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Hackett Chapel and on Thursday at the Wartrace United Methodist Church from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.

The family has requested memorials to: Ronald McDonald House or Shriners Childrens Hospital or St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
