OBIT: Mrs. Ernestine Silcox Dillon, Age 58, Of Carthage, TN

Mrs. Ernestine Silcox Dillon, age 58, of Carthage, TN, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016.

Mrs. Dillon was born November 28, 1958 in Carthage, TN, the daughter of Ernest Art Silcox and the late Melba Irene Dickens Silcox. She was also preceded in death by Niece; Sabrina Holmes on December 15, 2012. Ernestine liked working around the house, and especially enjoyed sewing and cooking.

Mrs. Dillon is survived by Three Children; Tonya (Sonny) Gochoff of Juneau, AL, Kelly Dale Silcox of Carthage, TN, and Truman Walter (Rebecca) Shahan of Hartsville, TN. Husband; Billy Dillon of Florida. Father; Ernest Silcox of Carthage, TN. Nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive along with Sister; Katherine Short of Clubb Springs, TN, Brother; Joe (Sandy) Silcox of Horseshoe Bend, TN, Nephew, Jamie Holmes and several great nieces and great nephews.

Graveside Services and Interment for Mrs. Dillon are scheduled to be conducted at the McCrary Cemetery in the Maggart Community, on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 1PM with Bro. Bill Smith officiating.

Visitation with the Dillon Family will be at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Monday from 10AM until departure for the cemetery at 12:30PM.

In lieu of flowers, the Dillon Family requests donations be made to assist with funeral expenses.
