OBIT: Ms. Logan “Nikki” Riley, Of Hartsville

Ms. Logan “Nikki” Riley, of Hartsville, died at the scene of a Monday afternoon, November 28, 2016, single car automobile accident which occurred on rain slick New Harmony Road in the New Harmony community of Macon County. The accident call for the 38 year old Smith County native was received by the Macon County E.M.S. shortly after 2 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, December 2nd, at 12 noon from the St. John’s Baptist Church in Hartsville. Burial followed near her parents, Ed Denney and Janet Denney, in the Garden of the Cross at Smith County Memorial Gardens.

Born Logan Nicole Denney in Carthage on August 1, 1978, she was the daughter of the late Walter Ed Denney and Janet Lynn Grisham Denney.

Ms. Riley was a 1996 graduate of Gordonsville High School.

Surviving Nikki are her father, David Riley of Huntsville, Alabama; daughter, Kelsey Harper of Hartsville; sons, Kenyan Harper of Hartsville, Dre Eastes of the Elmwood community; two brothers, Halan and Ryder Denney, both of the Elmwood community; granddaughter, Mila Rutland of Hartsville; fiancé, James Turner of Hartsville; grandparents, Kenneth and Joan Gibbs House of New Middleton; aunt, Bobbie Eastes and husband, Donnie, of the Elmwood community; uncle, Jimmy Grisham and wife, Donna, of the Popes Hill community.
