Erma Allen Fuqua, age 94 of Gallatin, passed away Friday January 13, 2017. Funeral Service will be Monday January 16th at 2:30 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Lonnie Meador officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Jeff Fuqua, Wesley Fuqua, Andrew McDade, Mark Visser, Ricky Shoulders, and Doug Stinson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Old Hopewell Church. Visitation will be Sunday January 15th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday January 16th from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Mrs. Fuqua was born May 11, 1922 in Bethpage to the late Thomas Jefferson Thompson and Lucy Margaret Williams Thompson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Brodie Fuqua; son, George Fuqua; daughter, Dottie Sue Stinson; brother, Homer Thompson; granddaughter, Lisa Fuqua McDade; grandson, William Ray Fuqua; and 2 great-grandchildren, Bryce Brady and Chase Brady. She is survived by son, Donald Ray Fuqua (Elizabeth) of Gallatin; son-in-law, Douglas Stinson of Gallatin; daughter-in-law, Ernestine Fuqua of Gallatin; sister, Dolly Clemons of Gallatin; 2 grandchildren, Jeffrey Fuqua and Loretta Visser (Mark); 4 great grandchildren, Andrew McDade, Rachel Speller (Dalton), Wesley Fuqua, and Britt Brady; and 3 great-great grandchildren, Keeli Fuqua, Kaylynn Fuqua, and Jeffrey Dalton Speller.
