Obit – Mrs. Melanie Carter Gregory

Mrs. Melanie Carter Gregory, age 58 of Graveltown, died Friday morning, June 11 at her home. She is survived by: husband of 39 years, Kenny Gregory; children, Ashton Murphy and husband Anthony of Gordonsville, Warren Gregory and fiance’ Stephanie Loveall of Pleasant Shade, sister, Margaret Carol Carter Oldham of Carthage; sisters-in-law, Juanita Carter of Four-Way-Inn, Shirley Carter of Carthage; mother-in-law, Faye Gregory of Carthage; brother-in-law, Ray Gregory and wife Jazanne Wilmore Gregory of Pleasant Shade; 6 grandchildren, Gavin Warren Gregory, Emma Grace Murphy, James Charlie Gregory, Carter Gregory Murphy, Lileigh Rose, Aurora Rose.

Mrs. Gregory is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Monday afternoon, June 14 at 1:00 PM. Eld. Anthony Dixon and Eld. Terry Ray will officiate. Interment in the Gregory Family Cemetery in the Graveltown Community. Serving as pallbearers are: Jackson Sledge, Phillip Carter, Joe Carter, Gavin Gregory, Anthony Murphy, Scott Hensley.

Visitation will begin on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

The family is requesting memorials to the Gregory Grandchildren College Fund.
