Obit – Mr. Jimmy Long

Mr. Jimmy Long, age 68 of Pleasant Shade, died Tuesday, June 8 at U. T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He is survived by: wife, Nancy Long; 3 daughters, Mandy Adkins of Oak Grove, Kentucky, Samantha Williamson and husband Matthew of Eagleville, Charity Ramsey and husband Chad of Lafayette; sisters, Susan Lee and husband Timmy of Portland, Jean Hurt and husband Tommy of Portland; brother, Ted Coleman and wife Gayle of Goodletsville; 8 grandchildren.

Mr. Long is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral home where his service will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon, June 15 at 1:00 PM. Steve Peeler will officiate. Interment in the Cowley Family Cemetery in Macon County. Serving as pallbearers are: Luther Summers, Stanley Summers, Larry Summers, Billy Summers, Chad Ramsey, Chayton Ramsey, Matt Williamson, Logan Summers.

Visitation begins on Monday at 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
