Obit – Ms. Cheri Escher
Ms. Cheri Escher age 52 of the Sullivans Bend Community was pronounced deceased at 1:06 p.m. Wednesday afternoon May 22, 2024 at the Ascension HighPoint-Sumner (formerly Sumner Regional Medical Center) in Gallatin where she was admitted Tuesday evening May 21st suffering from heart complications.
Ms. Escher is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday afternoon June 6th at 1 p.m. Bro. Mike Herdt will officiate and burial will follow in the Grisham Cemetery on Jonesboro Lane in the Sullivans Bend Community.
Ms. Escher was one of eight children of Mrs. Caroline Ann Kessler Escher Davis-Odor of Hendersonville and the late U. S. Army Vietnam Veteran Roger J. Escher, who died at the age of 33 on October 18, 1978.
Ms. Escher was a 1990 graduate of Coral Springs High School in Coral Springs, Florida.
She was a retired office manager for Owens-Minor, a global healthcare supply company, headquartered in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
Before relocating to her Sullivans Bend Community farm, she resided at her winter home in Margate, Florida.
She attended the Assembly of God Church in Madison.
Having never married, she was a lover of animals and had four fur babies, Coco, Bandit, Gizmo, and Trigger and she much enjoyed her rural life in Smith County.
Surviving in addition to her Mother and her four fur babies are her seven siblings, Daniel Escher of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Wanda Johnson and Sandra Meier both of Chilton, Wisconsin, Tammy Hiermerman of Horizon, Wisconsin, Kimberly Jacobs of Chilton, Wisconsin, Dawn Christiano of Coral Springs, Florida, Todd Escher of Green Cove Springs, Florida.
