Cash, drugs, vehicle seized

A sheriffs department investigation has resulted in the seizure of a large sum of cash, a vehicle, confiscation of various drugs and arrest of two men from Jamestown.

The investigation began when Deputy Nathan Williams stopped a vehicle with two people inside, who said they were en route to Nashville to a birthday party.

K-9 officer Sgt. Junior Fields and Deputy Dustin Holder were also dispatched to the scene.

During the investigation, officers located a zipped bag with $4,000 in cash, according to an offense report filed by Sgt. Fields.

Also, $886 and a baggie with six grams of methamphetamine, a baggie with six grams of cocaine, small bag of Psilocybin Mushrooms were located in one of the suspect’s pockets, according to the officer’s report.

In addition six grams of heroin, digital scales, an additional $960 in cash were located inside the vehicle in a zipped bag, according to the report.

In addition, $14,900 was located in another bag inside the vehicle, according to the report.

Totaled, $960 was seized form one suspect and $19,786 seized from a second suspect, according to the officer’s report.
