Early voting begins

Early voting in the November 5 elections began Wednesday (October 9) and will continue through October 31. 

Early voting is open to all registered voters. 

•Early voting is taking place at the Turner Building located off Spring Street in Carthage between the hours of 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.  on weekdays. Extended hour voting, until 6 p.m., will take place on October  22 and October 29. Voting on Saturdays will take place from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. on October 19 and October 26.

 •Early voting at the Gordonsville Civic Center will take place on October 22 (9 a.m. – 6 p.m.), October 23 (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.), October 24 (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.) and October 26 (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.). 

•November elections include a State Election (which includes Presidential Election), Carthage Municipal Election and Gordonsville Municipal Election.
