Obit – Mrs. Geraldine Sircy Likens

Mrs. Geraldine Sircy Likens age 77 of the Defeated Creek Community was discovered unresponsive at the Holliman Lane home of her daughter on Friday morning October 18, 2024. She was pronounced deceased at the Highpoint Health – Riverview Emergency Room.

Graveside services and interment were held Monday morning October 21st at the Davis Cemetery in the Russell Hill Community with J. J. Blankenship officiating. She was buried in the Sircy family lot beside her husband of over fifty-five years, Billy Joe Likens, who preceded her in death on June 2, 2019 at the age of 76. 

She was one of fourteen children of the late Henry and Mary Morman Sircy.

Siblings preceding her in death were Mamie Lee Kittrell, Julia Mai Sircy, Mary “Sis” Richardson, Bessie Mai Enoch, Bertha Thompson, Jean Gibbs, Ray Carl, George, and Johnny Sircy.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and David Martin of the McClures Bend Community, two sisters, Janie Croslin of Lebanon, Eller Sircy and a brother Herbert Sircy all of the Russell Community.
