Obit – Mr. Daniel Hailey

Mr. Daniel Hailey, age 38 of the Hillsdale Community in Macon County was pronounced deceased at his Cumberland Lane home on Sunday evening November 3, 2024 at 10:55 p.m. He was transported to the Metro Medical Examiner Office in Nashville for anatomical examination.

Mr. Hailey was released Tuesday morning November 5th to the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his funeral services were conducted on Thursday afternoon November 7th at 1 p.m. Eld. Stephen Brooks officiated and burial followed beside his mother, Tammy and sister Becky in the Garden of Everlasting Life at the Smith County Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hailey was the son of the late Tammy Ann Harville Hailey who died at the age of 57 on June 19, 2022 and was born Daniel Robert Hailey in Carthage on January 29, 1986.

His only sibling, a sister, Rebecca Ann Hailey died at the age of 17 on April 19, 1999 of injuries received in an automobile accident in Lebanon.

He was a member of the 2004 graduating class at Smith County High School.

Mr. Hailey attended the Carthage First Freewill Baptist Church in the Tanglewood Community.

He was an employee of Cobb Vantrease Chicken Farms in Lafayette.

Having never married, Mr. Hailey is survived by his grandmother, Judy Morgan, aunt & uncle, Debbie Harville Bradley and husband Tony all of Gallatin; cousins, Christie Steele and husband Chris of the Bradford Hill Community, Melissa Wright and husband Joe of Alexandria, Timmy Bradley and Stephanie Baxter and husband Jason all of Hendersonville.
