Smith County Fair tabloid inside

The Smith County Fair tabloid can be found inside this week’s edition of the Courier as preparations continue for the much anticipated event.

The county fair tabloid is a go to guide, providing times, dates, rules, regulations for various events and activities.

This year’s fair runs from Monday, June 30 through Saturday, July 5.

Pre-fair events (with no carnival) will also be held on Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28.

On Friday, an open archery competition will take place beginning at 4 p.m.

Saturday, June 28, will feature a full day of activities. Activities begin at 7 a.m. with the Warrior by the River Mud Run and continue into the night with a draft horse and mule show beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The fair officially gets underway on Monday night, June 30, as the carnival rides arrive.
