The Gordonsville High Tigerettes volleyball team has reached the Region 4-1A Tournament as their postseason journey continues.

The region tournament will be played at York Institute on Monday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 14. 

Monday featured the semifinals clashes between the District 8-1A champion the Tigerettes and 7-1A runners-up Jackson County. The Tigerettes and Lady Blue Devils clash began at 7:00 following the first semi between host and 7-1A champion York and 8-1A runners-up East Robertson.

The Region 4-1A title game is slated for a 6:00 p.m. start on Tuesday, October 7. 

The top two finishers from the Region 4-1A tourney will advance to the Class 1A Sectionals on Thursday, October 16. 

Gordonsville’s Region 4-1A is paired with Region 3-1A. Potential Sectional / Substate opponents are Sale Creek (District 5 champion), Culleoka (District 5 runners-up), Eagleville (District 6 champion) and Bledsoe County (District 5 runners-up).
