Obit – Charles Milton Stacey
Mr. Charles Milton Stacey, age 85, of Pikeville, TN, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
Mr. Stacey was born February 26, 1941 in Bell Buckle, TN, a son of the late John Stacey and Della Lou Bowen Smith. He was also preceded in death by Brother; Claude Mitchel Stacey. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Stacey served in the U.S. Army’s A Company, 4th Battalion, 35th Armor, 4th Armored Division and was stationed in Illesheim, Germany.
Mr. Stacey is survived by three Children; Richard M. Stacey of Lebanon, TN, Charles C. Stacey of Peoria, IL, and Delaina M. Sleigh of Gainesboro, TN. Grandchildren; Jonathan Stacey, Marjorie Moore, Taylor Stacey, Taitum Carpenter, Alathea Davenport, Autumn Davenport, Jacob Hudgins, Emmert Hudgins, Kearan Sleigh, and Rebecca Sleigh. Great-grandchildren; Kingston Mayfield, Claira Carpenter, Gary Stacey, Gracie Stacey, Orion Moore, and Morgan Moore. Mother of his children; Betty Stacey. Special Partner; Mary Tranthon. Siblings; Lonnie David Stacey, Jerry Wayne Stacey, Mary Jane Watson, Carolyn Smith, Shiryl Howard, Joyce Bull, Glenn Smith.
Graveside Services and Interment for Mr. Stacey were conducted on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 10AM at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at 7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37211.
Family and friends gathered at the cemetery just prior to the 10AM graveside.
