Ms. Sandra Jane Ballard, age 63, of Hickman, TN, passed away on Friday July 24, 2026, at her home.
Ms. Ballard was born June 1, 1963, in Carthage, TN, a daughter of Charlotte Lucille Davis Ballard-Ross and the late William Thomas Ballard. She was also preceded in death by step-father; Thomas M. “Tom” Ross; grandparents, Charlie and Mecie Clemons Ballard, Ira and Annie Rutledge Davis, ex-husband Billie Joe Dies, aunts; Theresa Ballard, Clara Chaffin, Cleona Ashworth, Mae Davis, Ruth Ella Ballard and Frances Ballard: uncles, Hub Spencer Davis, Willie Raymond Hardin, John Ballard, Charles “Cotton” Ballard, Howard Ballard: cousins, Ruth Marie “Sissy” Ballard Ray, Donnie Ballard, David Raymond Hardin, Roy Davis, Phillip Davis, Joyce Miller, Paul Ashworth Jr., Calvin Ashworth, Darlene Ashworth and Paula Ballard.
Ms. Ballard is survived by her mother: Lucille Davis Ballard-Ross of Hickman. TN; siblings, William Tomas “Tommy” Ballard Jr. and Howard Randall “Randy” (Angie Young) Ballard; nephews, Will Ballard, Mitchell Ballard and Nicholas Ballard; niece, Renee “Sissy” (Jim) Hewlett; stepson, Dustin Dies; aunt Hattie Marie Ballard Brown; Cousins, Stuart Ashworth, Michael Ballard, Pam, Penny and Gail Ballard, Linda, Mark, and David Brown, Joe, Larry, Billy Carolyn and Terry Davis; special friends: Amber Jackson friend, caregiver Michelle Jones, Theresa Taylor Merriman lifelong friend.
Ms. Ballard is at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
